Fortitech Opens New Facility in Poland

Having helped food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturers introduce or improve over 30,000 products in its 25 year history, Fortitech will celebrate its quarter century milestone by breaking ground on a new state-of-the-art facility near Poznan, Poland. Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2011, with completion expected in mid-2012. Together with the company’s Denmark operations, premix capacity is expected to reach over 12,000 tons annually and positions Fortitech to better serve its growing customer base in Europe, Russia, the Middle-East and Africa.

“Providing a superior level of customer service in all areas of operations is paramount to Fortitech,” said Walter S. Borisenok, president and ceo, Fortitech, Inc. “This investment will enable us to increase our manufacturing and distribution capabilities while continuing to meet the criteria set forth in the Fortitech Quality Standard Seal, which reaffirms our company’s values of leadership, integrity and certification, and ensures that all of our premixes meet or in many cases, exceed industry standards for safety, efficacy, traceability and more.”

This 63,000 sq/ft facility in Poland will further strengthen Fortitech’s position as the only worldwide company solely dedicated to the development and manufacturing of custom nutrient premixes for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
