HFC’s franchisees offer a range of services delivered through a consultative, in-home sales process in the window coverings, home organization and decorative concrete categories.

Founder Partnership

Successfully executed on a founder succession transition and platform-building strategy, while growing EBITDA at a 15%+ CAGR over a 3.5-year period.

Corporate Infrastructure

Developed HFC’s first annual budget. Created formal Board of Directors and recruited external Board Directors with specific experience in marketing, window coverings and franchising. Made long-term investments to establish the company as a platform of scale.

Executive Recruiting and Teambuilding

Collaborated with management to recruit senior finance, IT and marketing executives. The organization has grown to over 120 employees from roughly 90 at the time of acquisition (>33% growth).

Sales & Marketing

Performed comprehensive media audit, and optimized strategy / ROI. Rebranded each concept, enhanced digital / web presence and developed new omnichannel strategy.

Technology

Realigned key roles and staffing to support transition to business-facing function. Invested in 3-year development of sales and supply chain IT platform for franchisees.

M&A

Developed comprehensive list of potential acquisition targets and built out formal processes to support execution of M&A. Closed and integrated one acquisition.
